DEAR FRIENDS,
SHARK has released dramatic drone video footage of a beagle breeding facility owned by Covance Research Products and their parent company, Labcorp. The facility is located in Cumberland, VA.
Watch the video HERE
One of the hundreds of dogs SHARK filmed at Covance
Our drones allowed us an unprecedented view of the miserable conditions to which the beagles at Covance are subjected. With our high-magnification cameras, we were able to film these poor, suffering animals close-up, so the public can see exactly what these poor animals face on a daily basis.
SHARK has sent the following letter to Labcorp. We are requesting a meeting to discuss the inhumane conditions at their facility.
Please politely write to Labcorp and ask that they meet with SHARK ASAP:

CEO, Labcorp
Dear Mr. King and representatives of Labcorp,
My organization, SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK), has released a video exposing cruel and inhumane conditions at the Covance Research Products beagle breeding facility, located in Cumberland, VA.
Please watch the video on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ww6OgrKlRlk
As you will see, our drone filmed overcrowded cages filled with stressed dogs, cages littered with feces, and dogs suffering from stereotypic behaviors. As Labcorp is the parent company of Covance, you bear responsibility for this.
What is happening at Covance violates the standards set in Labcorp's "Corporate Responsibility Report,” a document that, as our video shows, wrongly states "Covance provides the animals the very best humane care.”
SHARK has filmed these conditions on multiple days, so this is a present and ongoing crisis. We are therefore requesting a meeting with Labcorp to discuss this issue and remedies as soon as possible, to avoid the continued suffering of innocent dogs.
Sincerely,
Steve Hindi

We at SHARK are working every day to fight for animals - now we need your help. Our funds are running dangerously low. A number of investigative efforts have already been cancelled, or are on hold because we simply don't have sufficient funds. Please consider making a generous donation now to keep SHARK going strong for the animals!
