DEAR FRIENDS,
Yesterday, Monday, November 10, SHARK activists went to the Pittsburgh office of Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Mike Turzai. You may recall that Turzai received a $3,000 donation from a pro-pigeon shoot Political Action Committee (PAC) three days before the bill to ban pigeon shooting was to be voted on.Then, in a stunning example of Pennsylvania corruption, Turzai refused to let the bill be voted on, effectively killing it.
The donation Turzai received from the "Flyers Victory Fund," the pro-pigeon shooting PAC.
We were at Turzai’s office to demand that he bring the bill to a vote tomorrow, the last day of the legislative session. We spotted him, albeit briefly, as you can see in this video taken inside his office.
Turzai directed his staff to take us upstairs to a conference room, saying, "we'll be right upstairs." That was the last we saw of Turzai. He had lied again. Instead of facing reasonable questions about his actions, he just hid from us.
Mike Turzai pointing to where he said he'd meet with us. He never did.
PA House Majority Leader Mike Turzai is the icon of Pennsylvania’s cruelty, cowardice and corruption. He is also the icon for fools if he thinks this is the end of the issue.
SHARK's TV spots exposing Turzai ran on CNN, FoxNews and MSNBC. You can see the two ads HERE and HERE.
We are now challenging Turzai, who is rumored to be in line for Speaker of the PA House, to join us tomorrow, at our event at the State Capitol in Harrisburg, where we will hold a news conference at 1:30 p.m. at the Rotunda.
We are calling on Turzai to either bring the bill (HB1750) up for a vote tomorrow or resign. There is no question in my mind that this poor excuse for a man will be a no-show, again. He oozes cowardice and corruption from every orifice.
Constituents of Mike Turzai protested with us at his office.
By showing up at his office and by running network television ads about this issue, we’ve proven to Mr. Turzai how serious this issue is and that we will not walk away. Turzai pocketed money from the pigeon shooters, and the blood of tens of thousands of innocent animals will forever stain him. We will never forget.
Please email and call Representative Turzai's office and challenge him to bring the bill up for a vote tomorrow in Harrisburg:

Tomorrow we will update you on what I am certain will be Turzai’s latest demonstration of cruelty, cowardice and corruption.
