Four people from northern Tasmania have been charged over the treatment of a bull at a rodeo at Carrick in January this year.
It is alleged the bull, which had spinal damage, was kicked in the face and forced to drag itself on to a truck.
It was later put down.
Two people from Carrick and two people from the north-west coast are charged with mismanagement under the Animal Welfare Act.
They are due to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court next month.
